Carved Black Forest 'Decanter Bear'

Please note that all my new wood carvings for sale are hand carved in Switzerland by master carvers who have undergone years of training in their apprenticeships. These carvings are 'one off' works of art due to their hand crafted creation so no one piece will ever be the same as another. Unlike bronzes where multiple copies are made of an original these carvings are singularly unique and will no doubt become the eminently collectable antiques of the future.

Basket holds a perspex wine cooler

Charming Swiss hand carved wooden Black Forest 'Decanter Bear'. The Bear carries on his back a basket that contains a perspex wine cooler that you can fit your chilled white wine or Champagne bottle into. It looks great as a centrepiece on the table or your bar. Beautifully hand carved in Linden wood this is a fun and versatile item. The basket can also have exterior wooden holders fitted around it from which you can hang the wine glasses.
