Superb, rare Antique Swiss 'Black Forest' carved Eagle by A. Stahli-Dobler of Brienz, Switzerland - circa 1910

This superb antique signed Eagle by A. Stahli-Dobler of Brienz is very rare being carved circa 1910 in an Art Deco style. The detailing is very precise on the talons and Head while the body is executed in a stylised form which is highly effective and beautiful. I have never seen another Eagle carved in this manner and the effect is stunning.
The Eagle stands 28 inches tall (71 cms), it is 16 inches wide (40 cms) and 11 inches deep (28 cms).
